Part 5 in a line chronicling the One Pained Blog Baseball Card Vend-Off

Reviser and corrector’s minute: One Sorry Blog planter Paul Rivas is selling off his baseball cards on ebay with vender name onesorryblog, care only a precious and nugatory few. He intends to barter every last card that will bring coin at auction and donate the remaining 30,000 for no tax part. Realizing that his last huzza in the hobby is upon him, Rivas is recording and that reflects on the experience at One Pained Blog, the rational collector’s blog.
Abundantly four people have written the ebay desk of One Afflicted Blog in the last week speech how inspiring they’d each found this small series. A few people have conveyed their comments on the blog to me by word of mouth, perhaps thinking (as I did) that no one else reads it anyway, and a few others have cabled to say that they’re still perusal. One bidder sent me a notice on ebay suggesting that I might get more bids for one of my rather rigorous Garnett cards if I listed it in the basketball in lieu of baseball order.
In every instance, the notice has been encouraging, and surprisingly in streak with what I posited in the first part of this order, namely that my turning my seasonable life’s be in action out to the collecting masses at absurdly low-priced prices is a useful and necessary body for the hobby. Everybody is stoked on these cards, and wouldn’t they be? I’ve been astonished at what serviceable condition they’re in (of a piece that Moses Malone, for solicitation), and as I put another 25 for opportunity to sell every day on ebay, I’m continually discovery things that even I find exciting, and I’m supposed to not be prejudiced anymore.
The card store owner had warned me: “Be concerned. This is just how Josh started again. He came in here talking about selling all his cards, and then he’d find something here that he contemplation was cool. Then he was buying packs, and now he’s collecting again.” I laughed, but kept discovery reasons to go back the next day, on my way to or from my parents’ residence, where the scanner and beneficial internet union are. I’ve in all probability been in the card store every day for the last week, or more spells than I had in the last ten years combined.
