W Is For Wagner - The Line-Up For Yesterday
Ogden Nash was an American bard who the New York Spells called one of the land's best known producers of poesy. In 1949 he produced a metrical composition called "The Extended mark-Up For Yesterday" which was published in Diversion Magazine.
In the piece of poetry, Nash created a schedule of the all time bulky baseball players and used one name for each alphabetic character of the alphabet.
