LANSING, MI -- It's nearly one hundred years old and has been touted as the "Holy Grail" of baseball cards.
"I've always thought and dreamed of owning this card or at least even seeing it," said owner Ray Lumbert.
That dream may have become a reality when 32-year-old Lumbert of Lansing, Michigan finalized a deal for what he believes to be an authentic 1909 Honus Wagner baseball card.
"We're still doing research and we'll continue to do research until we're made an offer."
Lumbert co-owned the card the past few months after giving the original owner $25,000.
